Nacht

I wish I could stay awake to watch the magnificent show of lights and sounds happening right now out there. Protect myself from the deadly light and run away from the constant humming. Night offers me protection and bliss.

Christian Louboutin: Marie Antoinette-Inspired shoes

Some time ago I crossed ways with this amazing and excentric pair of shoes, by Christian Louboutin and Lesage. I completely freaked out! But these walking pieces of art are not for every pocket. Aprox. 4 634 euros per pair. Heh.. I guess they are not so pretty now XD Click the photos to zoom! (I find the pink ones irresistable *.*)

Há algum tempo deparei-me com este fantástico e excêntrico par de sapatos, por Christian Louboutin e Lesage. Passei-me completamente! Alice in Wonderland - Review

Hello! Last night I went to the cinema to watch Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. As I already mentioned, I love every movie by Tim Burton, and this was not an exception!
I loved everything! From the story to the cast, to the scenes to the colours, the characters, the characterization, music (...)

If you expect to watch Disney's Alice in Wonderland, but in live action, then don't even think about it. Tim Burton grabbed Alice in Wonderland's original story, and gracefully molded it into his very own view. The original meaning is still there, as well as important symbolic items that should be preserved. Alice is a little older, but it kind of makes sence : ) I love the whole scenario: an "Underland" full of wonders, but still with some weirdness and some dark places... I personally love the Red Queen's lake of heads : P The characterization is pretty cool: Red Queen and Mad Hatter were the best! I also loved the Cheshire Cat and the absolutely insane rabbit XD The music is awesome, as always : ) I just didn't like Avril Lavigne's song in the end, but that's a personal taste.
The cast: AWESOMENESS. Really couldn't get any better! The main actress, Mia Wasikowska, is really really amazing. A good surprise for me! I didn't know what to expect from this young lady, because I never heard anything about her before. It was a good surprise! She is very talanted, and absolutely beautiful. Perfect for the role, in my opinion. Johnny Depp is the awesomeness we are used to see, of course. Same goes for Helena Bonham Carter. Anne Hathaway was pretty incredible too.

I won't tell the story in detail, although I want to do that sooo bad, because I don't want to be a spoiler : P You should really see it for yourself!

Oh and just one more thing! Watch it in 3D! Really, it's worth it! Makes you feel like you were actually inside the movie, and enhances your watching experience... There, I think I didn't forget anything, although I'm pretty sure I could keep talking about this movie for the whole night XD
bye*

Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland"

Let's keep it short: I DYING TO WATCH THIS RIGHT NOW! I've been waiting for this movie since I first heard about it...which was around Corpse Bride's time. I'm a hardcore Tim Burton fan, and I absolutely love everything he puts his fingers on. The music by Danny Elfman, almost always present, is also something so f*cking fantastic. Definitely helps the dark atmosphere.. His music is easily recognizable!
The stories are always interesting and different and you can seriously fall in love with every character. The whole aesthetic is a dream!
And as if this wasn't enough, we have Johnny Depp. Nothing more to say right now. Later you will surely have my review ; )
